Stop at the Gaisalpe with tarte flambée

You can walk to the Gaisalpsee directly from the front door. Alternatively, you can also drive a little further by car. The car park is located in Reichenbach and is called the Gaisalpe car park.

The mountain lake is certainly too cold for swimming, so the Freibergsee would be recommended, but the Gaisalpsee is always a popular destination.

There is a tarte flambée as a reward on the way back at the Gaisalpe mountain inn.

Expert variant:

If you are an experienced mountaineer, I recommend crossing the Gaisalphorn to the Rubihorn. When you have arrived at the lake, it then goes another 300 meters over rock and stone.

From the top you have a wide view of the Alps.
